Our Story

The Lanao Women' Association (LAWA - now LADACOA) is a community-based organization established in 2018 and officially registered in 2019, dedicated to empowering marginalized women in Barangay Lanao, Dalaguete, Cebu, Philippines.

Operating as a social enterprise, LADACOA was established and registered in 2024 to produce and market high-quality coconut-based agricultural products including virgin coconut oil, coconut husk products, and related by-products. The organization combines economic empowerment of Dalaguete farmers with environmental sustainability, serving multi-generational customers who value health-conscious and eco-friendly products. With a growing number of members,

LADACOA operates through multiple distribution channels including a planned physical consumer store in Dalaguete, government agency events, and emerging digital platforms.

The brand is characterized by its strong community ties, commitment to the economic empowerment of local farmers, sustainable production practices, and genuine care for both members and customers.

LADACOA's operations are supported by government agencies including the Department of Agriculture (DA), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), Department of Environment & Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Labor and mployment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI),and Dalaguete LGU, positioning it as a credible and officially recognized enterprise within the agricultural sector.
